Animal Crackers

We went to the Cheyenne Mountain Zoo about a month ago, but I've been so busy with school and work I forgot all about the awesome time we had, though my legs were sore the next day with all the walking up the steep hills and cliffs since the entire enclosure is basically built right into the side of the mountain.

I made best friends with Wilbur (probably not his real name)
and he did a wonderful glamor shot for me.

I look about 4 feet tall compared to him, but we make a great pair don't we?


My favorite was probably the aviary.
Hundreds of gorgeous birds fluttering around your head!

The Sky Tram was a little scary at first,
but it was awesome to see the town from that high up.

We sat and watched the elephants for a good long while.
